Solo & Ensemble Festival

At Whitko, all high school instrumental students are required to participate in solo/ensemble. All junior high musicians are strongly encouraged as well. Students participate in solos and ensembles, many at the Group 1 level. Much of the work students do in preparation for this event is self-driven. Through participation in solo/ensemble, students learn how to truly become independent musicians!
