​This Friday the Horvaths will be hosting the marching band banquet at the Eel River Bison Ranch. The banquet will begin at 6:30 PM with dinner at 6:45. Awards and speeches will be at 7:45 and the banquet should conclude by 8:30. 

In order to avoid charging admission to the banquet, we structure it as a potluck carry-in. The Boosters will be providing the main course of lasagna, but each section will be asked to provide the following items:

• Flutes/Clarinets - Salads & Dressings
• Saxes - Garlic Bread
• Brass - Desserts
• Percussion - Drinks/Ice

This is an important event that we need volunteer help with. We have a small group of very dedicated booster officers and members that do a lot, and we would really appreciate help in expanding that group. Remember that many hands make light work, so if you are able to help with a small portion of this event we would greatly appreciate it! Any and all marching band students and parents are encouraged to pitch in. Here are some of the ways you can help out:

• Setup for the banquet will be on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. We will put out decorations and set tables at this time.
• If you are interested in designing a program please contact Mr. VanPatten for needed information
• Kathy Wright is planning on cooking the lasagna in the foods classroom after school on Friday. If you would like to take a pan or two home to cook and bring with you that will make that process go much faster and easier!
• If you think of anything else that you could do to help make this evening more memorable for our students, don't hesitate to contact either Mr. VanPatten or Greg Rhoades, we'd love your input!

We have added two games at Grace and Huntington to the pep band schedule. These games give us both public recognition and Grace even pays $650, so they are great opportunities for our program.

Saturday January 19th - Grace vs. Taylor (1:00 PM, Mens/Womens Double Header)
Tuesday January 22nd - Huntington Mens vs. Saint Francis (7:00 PM)
